Grand Canyon - Bright Angel and Rim Trails
We hiked a total of about 17 miles in two days, to include some of the Rim Trail and some of Bright Angel Trail. While there is over 2,500 ft. elevation gain to the turnaround point on Bright Angel Trail, we found that it was just not that hard. Maybe we were in better shape than we thought 😊. The hikes are nice, and you see some incredible scenery – it’s the Grand Canyon, after all – but it is so very crowded that I could only give it four hearts. I wouldn’t do it again unless someone wanted to go all the way to the bottom of the canyon and back. Still, it is worth doing at least once if you can ignore the crowds and focus on the incredible views.
